What is Gravy Master?
Gravy Master® is one of those ingredients that I never run out of because I keep a supply of it on hand. It doesn’t matter whether I’m making gravy from beef, pork, chicken, or turkey—I always use it as a flavoring in my gravy. The gravy is greatly improved by the addition of this one-of-a-kind flavoring that comes in a bottle and has been described as a “tiny miracle.” It also makes an appearance in a number of my stews and soups.
It is also possible to incorporate it into the process of caramelizing vegetables. It only takes a few drops, but it makes a big difference.
The first version of this product was released in the year 1935. As a browning and caramelizing seasoning sauce, it was marketed and promoted as such in the marketplace. A concentrated mixture of celery, onion, parsley, and garlic, caramel, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, apple vinegar, salt, and pure cane sugar are all components of the Gravy Master® blend. It is devoid of any artificial coloring or chemical preservatives and is naturally preserved. Because it is completely vegetarian, you can use it in any dish that is vegetarian or vegan.

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and whisk until smooth and golden in color. Slowly whisk in broth, salt, pepper, and browning and seasoning sauce until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Start with 4 tablespoons of fat left over in the pan after cooking meat (or substitute butter or margarine).Blend in 4 tablespoons flour over low heat, stirring until smooth.Slowly stir in 2 cups water and pan drippings.Boil gently five minutes.Stir in 1 teaspoon GravyMaster®.Add salt and pepper to taste. What Is Gravy Master Good For?

As I did in the previous example, you could also use “slurry” instead of raw ingredients (just broth).
The next step is to simply toss all of the ingredients into a single pot, along with some kind of oil and spices if you so desire.

The Gravy Master is a bottle of pre-mixed water that is simple to use and does not require any guesswork on your part. Even though it doesn’t smell quite as strong as Kitchen Bouquet, it’s still pungent enough that I don’t want to do any cooking in my own house!
